Eco-Conscious Laundering

Mama Earth brings your soiled cloth diapers to our professional laundering facility.  We take care to sanitize diapers in the most effective and eco-friendly manner possible.  Mama Earth uses natural detergents and energy efficient equipment to ensure that you receive a quality product with each fresh diaper delivery.

Pre-Wash Cycle

Diapers are pre-washed with warm water and a natural, phosphate-free, biodegradable soap.  The pre-wash cycle rinses away residue in preparation for the hot wash cycle. Any remaining soil or residue will be easily removed from the diapers during the hot-wash cycle.

Hot Wash Cycle

During the hot-wash cycle, diapers are washed with all natural soap in water nearing 200 degrees.  The boiling-hot water combined with organic detergents creates an intense sanitation process.  All remaining soil and residue is removed during this phase.  As the diapers continue to wash, bacteria are destroyed.

Rinse Cycle

Mama Earth rinses clean diapers in warm water three times.  The rinse cycle balances Ph levels, and restores hypoallergenic properties.  We use energy efficient machines during the rinse cycle, leaving diapers natural and phosphate-free.

Drying Process

Using energy efficient equipment, Mama Earth dries diapers with intense heat.  No fabric softener or chemicals are used during the drying process.  Heat naturally softens diapers, leaving them warm, clean, and fluffy.
